Answers:

1. Think i will most defiantly keep this blog, mainly because i am too lazy to take it off, but also because it is an international symbol of my ninth grade lit class. The primary purpose is to remember memories. But no, i will most likely not add a new post.

2. I think i will look around occasionally to see if anyone will update their blogs over the summer. If they do, i will surely comment. I would not read random blogs, as that can developed into an extremely distracting addiction.

Stress management should be taught in more depth at our school. I recall from health class that we spent about only 15 minuets from the text book on how to manage stress.

Anyhow, The best I manage stress is to drink chilled, not cold water, and do pranayam, a branch of yoga that emphasises breathing, focus, and stress reduction.

I say the most interesting tradition was Carnival (i might of spelled that wrong). The most interesting part about that was that people stopped eating meat.

Holi is an Indian tradition. Its a festival used to mark the Death of Holika, an evil women trying to kill Prahalad. Prahalad was the child of a mighty daemon king, whose followers were forced to look as the King as God. Prahalad was heavenly inspired and was a devout devotee of Vishnu. The king wanted him dead, and tried numerous ways of killing him. One way was to burn him. One of the kings relatives (Holika) was granted a boon, the power to withstand fire. She was instructed to hold down Prahalad, as they both sat in a fire. Prahalad, was saved by Vishnu’s divinity, and Holika was burned to ashes.

I celebrate this with powdered colors and Liquid colors.
